Making Better Paddlers – Ben Lawry and Robert Schrack

Join coaches Ben Lawry and Adventure Crafters’ Robert Schrack to fine tune your paddling skills. This camp provides the opportunity to enhance your paddling skills for the upcoming season. With a focus on the surf, incident management and currents, you’ll test yourself to the limit whilst being guided in great technique and form. Our goal is to grow your paddling skills with the instruction you need to set you on a path of learning and enjoyment for months to come. Two quality days of classes and one evening talk, all based within a few miles of Appomattox River Company’s Yorktown store. This camp will be limited to 8 students.

SUP COURSES

There will be even more SUP’s at Demo Day 2012. In addition, Black Dog Paddle will offer 3 Basic Stand Up Courses. Black Dog Paddle, the ONLY ACA certified SUP instructors in Central Virginia, is offering a discounted Basic SUP class June 9th at the Super Demo in Farmville. Reservations are strongly encouraged at www.blackdogpaddle.com. Go to the Calendar page and request a lesson! Put “Super Demo” in the Date requested to get the special pricing. $39 includes a 2 hour Basic SUP* class. Start times are 9:00AM, 11:30AM, and 2:00PM.
